Chris Herrera
Coach Chris started wrestling at a young age and eventually found love for combat sports very quickly. Chris became a 2x all state wrestler in Texas, as well as Varsity football and track. After high school, Chris joined the United States Marine Corps where he served 3 Combat Tours of Duty. During his time in the military, Chris continued to improve upon his passion for grappling and started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, and kickboxing . Chris, using his many years of wrestling experience , picked up mixed martial arts fairly quickly and started fighting MMA bouts in 2009, and would eventually have his pro debut in 2012. Chris would strive to improve his game and continued a career internationally where he fought and trained in places such as Thailand, Amsterdam, and Singapore. With all this knowledge acquired, he became a member of Dan Henderson’s Team Quest Fight Team. Chris would eventually fight and coach many fighters for Bellator Fighting Championship and many fighters within the UFC ranks. Coach Chris strives to use his expansive knowledge and experience to build warriors for the future.
